About your coach
Hi, I’m Shelly! As a women’s fitness and nutrition coach — and a pre- and postnatal specialist — I’m passionate about helping women feel strong, confident, and connected to their bodies at every stage of life. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, in the thick of postpartum recovery, or years beyond the baby phase and ready to prioritise you again, I’m here to help you find realistic, creative ways to make your health and wellbeing a priority.
As a mum of three young kids, I know how easy it is to lose yourself in the chaos of motherhood. After having my third baby, I felt frustrated by the lack of support available to women—not just in early recovery, but in the months and years that followed.
That experience inspired me to create The Beyond Fitness Online Membership: a supportive space where women of all ages and stages can access expert guidance, flexible workouts, and a clear, realistic pathway that meets them where they’re at.
From rebuilding your core and pelvic floor to building strength, energy, and confidence over time, the Beyond Fitness Membership is here to take the guesswork out of training and help you feel at home in your body again. My phase by phase approach is designed to honour your unique journey, with programs tailored to support your goals, your life, and your time.

PREGNANCY
Your body is doing something truly incredible—and when supported with the right movement, it can feel strong, energised, and more connected than ever. I am here to guide you through pregnancy with safe, effective workouts that are tailored to your changing body, including pregnancy Pilates, low-impact strength sessions, and soon, Pregnancy Yoga led by a qualified Birth Doula.
You’ll not only feel the physical benefits of staying active, but you’ll also become more knowledgeable and confident in how to move throughout your pregnancy. Learn how to adapt your training, support your pelvic floor and core, and prepare your body for birth and recovery—with expert guidance every step of the way.

POST PARTUM
Whether you’ve just welcomed your baby or are months—or even years—into motherhood, your recovery matters. Inside the membership, you’ll find a full range of postnatal programs designed to support your body and help you rebuild from the inside out.
Start with short, gentle sessions (less than 10 minutes) focused on deep core connection and pelvic floor recovery, no matter your birth experience. Then move at your own pace into progressive strength workouts, building your confidence, stamina, and full-body strength.
You’ll also find expert guidance on how to manage symptoms like pelvic floor dysfunction, back or hip pain, and how to exercise safely and effectively in this unique chapter of life. Whether you're returning to movement for the first time, or ready to feel strong again—there’s a path here for you.

In-Person Classes with Beyond Fitness!
Our March - April terms of in-person classes in Castlelyons Community Hall are well under way, and what an amazing crew of members to spend the past few weeks with!
Saturday Circuits have been on fire since their first session back - these ladies have been really testing their strength and challenging themselves with the heavier weight options with each workout! Wednesday night Pilates have been as dedicated as ever, each week pushing the boundaries a little bit more and always up for any challenge that is trown at them!
One of the highlights of this term so far has been meeting new Mums and Babas in both M&B Pilates and M&B Circuits1 Cutness overload! So far we’ve also brought up discussions on post-partum recovery, the return to exercise guidelines, scar tissue massage, pelvic floor dysfunction, managing the mental load and learning to let go!

Mum and Baby Classes
Mum & Baby Pilates -
Tuesdays, 10.15am - 11.45am
These are the perfect classes for you and baba to join, where the focus is on YOU as a new mum.
Our 1-hour post-partum Pilates session focuses on restoring your core and pelvic floor strength. and is followed by the all important tea & chats!
Mum & Baby Circuits -
Fridays, 10.00am - 11.00am
Mum & Baby Circuits combines strength training, cardio and core work (with a splash of baby cuteness of course!) to help further build your overall strength and fitness in a suitable, progressive way.
These classese are the most beautiful way to connect with other new mums and is a place to feel welcomed and supported. Suitable up to pre-walkers.
Pilates
Wednesdays, 7pm & 8.15pm
Feel equally strengthed and stretched with one of our classic Pilates classes.
Pilates is the perfect low-impact class which will challenge the body through smaller, slower, precise movements, helping to improve lower back & core strength, posture and over-all wellbeing.
Circuits
Saturdays, 8.30am - 9.30am
Get ready to feel STRONG & ENERGISED with our Saturday morning Circuit Session! This class combines weights, bodyweight, cardio and core exercises and the upbeat energy of this class will having you springing in to the weekend! This class is suitable for all levels of fitness!
